School Hours/Arrival and Dismissal:

 

8:30-3:00-Children are permitted to enter the building at 8:20 when the bell rings. Students must be in class by 8:30 or they are considered tardy.

Student Drop-off:
Student drop-off is located at the side entrance to the right of the building as you enter the school property. The side doors are opened at 8:20 and are locked at 8:30. If you need to enter the building with your child, please use the front entrance and sign in at the office.

Student Pick-up:

Student pick-up is located at the front of the building. Please pull your car up to the front of the building and have your ID available. Please remain in your car and a staff member will come to you, check your ID and will have your child come out to your car. If you need to come into the building, please park in the parking lot and enter the office. 

Transportation Requests:
Please send in a note to your child's teacher if there are any changes from their usual dismissal routine. A note is also required from each parent when students go home with each other. Please be aware that bus passes will only be issued for childcare purposes so please indicate this on the note that is sent in with your child. 

To Report an Absence or Lateness:

 

Please call the school before 9:00 a.m. if your child will be absent or late to school. Dial 215-855-8800, and press "2" for the attendance line. You may also leave a message on this line the night before or at any time before school opens. A "Safe at Home" call will be attempted for students who are marked absent and unaccounted for.

Please refer to the Elementary School Parent Handbook for the complete NPSD attendance policy. Absences will be marked as excused or unexcused in accordance with NPSD guidelines.
