Walton Farm Pride

Welcome to Walton Farm! We are proud to be a part of the Walton Farm community and equally proud to support the success we facilitate each and every day.

Walton Farm Elementary opened in 1994 on the farm property that belonged to the Walton Family. Our school sits back from Allentown Road in a beautiful setting of over 34 acres. Our facility is well-maintained, fully air-conditioned, safe and secure. We have several SMARTBoard classrooms, networked computers in every classroom, and wireless computers with over 30 networked laptops!

We pride ourselves in promoting a caring community for our staff, students, and families. Everyday, over 550 kindergarten through sixth grade students eagerly enter our doors and are embraced by a group of talented and devoted professionals who are committed to the philosophy that all students can learn. Our focus and mission continues to be "Learning for All; Whatever it Takes" and we have made great progress to ensure that every child attains a level of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Our district and PSSA assessment results continue to increase and exceed state and district goals.

The Walton Farm motto of "United We Stand, Together We Learn" is lived daily through our collaborative relationship with our community and families. We are fortunate to have the support of our Home and School Association which works very closely with our school to provide many valuable opportunities for both learning and fun.

Our art programs are also points of pride. Each year, our art teacher displays work from every student in our Literacy & Arts Palooza. A variety of musical opportunities are also available to our children. Suzuki violin classes are offered in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades, string instrumental classes begin in 3rd grade, and band instrumental classes begin in 4th grade. Additionally, our students are provided opportunities to participate in our chorus and chimes choir.

Other wonderful activities are available to our students including a Math 24 Club, Student Council, and Yearbook Club. And for the past several years, our Reading Olympic teams have each earned blue ribbons, the highest honor, at the regional Reading Olympic competition!

Our extra-curricular activities, school wide recognition efforts, and rigorous and responsive educational program prepare Walton Farm students to be positive and productive citizens and leaders in our community and our world.
